I am surprised I did not discover this place sooner! I loved it so so much. Already been here twice. The place is cozy and gives you such great Mexican vibes, interiors are pretty. You order on the counter and grab a seat, they also have outdoor seating. They have many vegetarian options, I ordered crispy taquitos with potatoes and cheese, they were just like the name suggested, crispy and filled with potatoes and cheese, came with some salad and cheese or top. The vegetable quesadilla was my favorite it had cheese and a lot of veggies, came with a little bit of guacamole and sour cream and their green sauce. From the specials i got the Veggie chimichanga, it's a deep fried burrito, it's massive comes on a bed of some red sauce, this was delicious too and heavy on the stomach. The only thing I did not like were the chips, i felt they were not fresh and could have been a lot better. The salsa was good, the hot sauce they have on the side is really hot, so be careful! Overall loved it cant wait to go back. Oh the staff is 10/10.

Our family LOVES Mexican food. We probably go to Speedy's Tacos the most and if we aren't there, we're across the parking lot at Tia Juana, owned by the same family. This place is truly a neighbor joint, where we often see the same people dining and we have gotten to know the owners very well. This place is casual where you order at the counter, get your own drinks and the food comes to your table. It is cozy inside but also has nice outdoor seating when the weather is nice. It really has it all, great chips, salsa and guacamole, flavorful dishes and fast, friendly service. My favorite is the taquito combo that comes with the tastiest salad. My husband likes the chicken burrito with green sauce. Be sure to ask for the special orange hot sauce that takes it to the next level. We are never disappointed when we come here because the quality of food is always fresh, consistent and full of flavor. The same can be said for its sister restaurant, Tia Juana (look for my review), which has a more traditional menu. Please, if you think you have your go-to Mexican restaurant, give Speedy's Tacos or Tia Juana a try. You will not be disappointed and will have your new go-tos! Sorry, no pictures. Was craving some pozole and perfect that it was a Saturday! The bowl definitely hit the spot and I was able to take my leftover bit home and enjoy it later. Service was quick, we ordered at the counter to dine and they brought it to our table hot and fresh! Plenty of seating, we decided to sit inside but the outdoor seating seemed nice as well. The chips and salsa was as also very good

Pretty darn good tacos. Tried a variety (al pastor, carne asada, lengua). Favorite was probably the al pastor. We also tried a Burrito and it was good, but the tacos were better! The horchata also really hit the spot. Overall a great place to satisfy my socal taco itch!

I came here to check out the tacos- I got a sampler to try the pollo, carne asada and al pastor. All the tacos were flavorful and had a good amount of meat and filling. I will definitely be back and have added this to my list for local taco places.

Speedy's has a great interior, I've never dined outside. They tend to be popular and busy. The staff is great at handling the line and food comes out quick. Service is also great, staff is always friendly and patient. We got the pork tamales (an order comes with 3), carne asada taco, chicken taco, and flan. You queue up and order at the register and they give you a number to place wherever you decide to sit. Water is self-serve. Pork tamales were yummy, not dry. Didn't need anything extra, taste was great. Carne asada and chicken tacos were great. Love the salsa and everything included on the plate. Flan was great, nice and caramel-y. Everything was just perfect to be split between two people. Would definitely return!

Came here after my class at night craving some tacos. I got the carne asada , pastor , and pulled pork taco. Parking was easy in the plaza next to the store. The service was good ordering up in front and sitting down getting food delivered to your table. The inside was nice and comfy. I loved the texture of the tacos was a little crispy and the meat was flavorful!

Pretty solid casual Mexican restaurant with a decent amount of menu options. Order at the counter & food is brought to your table. There's indoor and patio seating. Service was friendly and relatively quick. I got the steak quesadilla which had good flavor. I think the portions at this restaurant are not as large as many other casual Mexican joints (sides are available for purchase separately rather than coming with the entrees as a combo) but the food was good.

Quality/Quantity - What a pleasant surprise!! Went out of my way to come here. Wanted something quick, healthy, and good and Speedy Tacos did NOT disappoint! Simple menu done well. Today I got the following, hoping my wife would eat a taco and a half? Failed... Al Pastor Tacos. Pulled Pork Tacos. Chicken Tacos. I did not have a favorite, well maybe I preferred the pork over the chicken...? All were good and of similar sauces. I did also get a mild and spicy sauce on the side, but I really did not need it. All were of generous sizes and with generous fillings/meats. I also like the soft/crispy taco shells; hard to describe and not sure if my pictures do it justice. If anything, I would have liked an extra slice of lime or two. Atmosphere - Good size location, both indoor and outdoor. Semi open kitchen. Small private parking lot, but not an issue for me. Huge neighboring parking lot, not sure if it was okay to park there. I did not bother to check the signs. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 8:30pm, and on Sundays from 1:30pm to 7pm. Service - Counter service, then they bring you your food. Self service fountain sodas available. I bought it to-go, so it was just counter service for me. Huge party got here right before me, and they ordered individually... Good thing the line moved relatively fast. The cashier (maybe the owner) was very mild mannered, professional, friendly, and hard working. Price - $13; inexpensive in my book. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2015. You got yourself a regular customer now.
